The Friday night was another bumper batch of local talented bands in the marquee.

The Saturday night saw the return of ELVIS – with guest appearances from Rod Stewart and Freddie Mercury! Plus Fabbadabba and the Beetroot Beatles.

Belper Charity 10k and 5k runs

Race results

An absolutely excellent day started off with 100 runners taking part in the 10k and 5k races. The rain held off long enough to get the races completed – but maybe it could have helped cool down those tired limbs!

Tom Phillips who came 2nd in the 10k said “Great organisation, great race, and horrible hills!”

Following the runs we were treated to some excellent music and a great chilled out atmosphere in the marquee. We spent a very nice afternoon listening to Nombu, Lucy Milford and Mel Squires – and a few assorted singers who certainly entertained the crowd.
